Shouldn't the US adopt a population control birthrate limit and mandate forced abortion after that said limit?

That's disgusting. Communist China used to do that, and they might still, for all I know, even though they are much less strict in some ways.I believe totalitarian regimes restrict births, at least in part, so there wouldn't be enough people who were willing to do so, to effectively resist them.
