What are the next steps to take after a law suit for money is won?

Pardon the poor wording but I recently won a law suit that resulted in the opposite party owing me a little over $2000. As of now (months later) he has yet to pay me back. I was wondering if anyone new the steps to take to get the money in the state of California. Thank you.
