Is this a form of anthropocentrism?

Is it arrogant and anthropocentric if one believes that if a human gets attacked by an animal then the human has a right to kill the animal in self-defense if it is necessary for survival, and also that if a wild animal wanders into a human settlement then the humans have a right to drive it back into its natural habitat?
