I found a kitten a few years ago with the physical, social, and verbal characteristics of the egyptian mau?

I know people that own this breed. They gravitate to her. She, of course, skitters away either hiding completely or managing the sidelines by me. All my pets are rescues. I am not interested in pedigree per se, but I cannot ignore the similiarities from the larger hind legs to the gooseberry eyes. Can all of this (physical, social, verbal) occur randomly?
