Remove the dry food entirely and feed just wet but more of it. Its unfortunate but your cat may have kidney issues, take it to the vet as soon as possible. He is very sick and you may loose him.

You need the first thermometer (digital probe thermometer).. That's actually the same I have. The warm end should be 90-95 floor temp. If it ends up too cold, that does not mean get a new light bulb. In fact, I would take the one you're currently using out too. Leopard gecko's heat "sensors" are on their belly, so they only can feel heat from the belly. If it's too hot over head, they can't feel that to know to get over to the cool side. They're also nocturnal, so regular bulbs aren't always the best idea during the day. If your temperature is too low, get a new heat mat that will cover 1/3 to 1/2 of the tank floor (if yours doesn't) , and it will be warmer. If you insist on a light, a red heat bulb (no UV or any of that expensive stuff.. And they can't see red.) over the warm hide should be okay, as long as the light isn't directly over the gecko's head.

How does devaluing a currency help a government deal with it's national debt?

Devaluation only helps with tourism ( from nations with stronger currency). It also helps if one buys said currency with the hopes that the currency will rebound at a later date. If a government completely disregards the gold standard and counterfeits their own bills, then the world market will eventually disregard said bills. Then a cascade effect occurs and that nation's interests will be liquidated to the highest bidder. At some event horizon, the nation loses its identity and the government thereof runs away to pontificate about how to spend its time

I can't get my cat to stop whining. Any suggestions?

We're putting my 2 1/2 year old egyptian mau on a diet because she's getting fat. She's a very spoiled cat to begin with, alway whining about something. I feed her at 8am and 7pm usually, but now she whines not only after finishing her food in the morning but over the past 2 weeks, starting at 4pm. If I were to feed her at 4, then shed be hungry and whine more when I go to sleep, and the only way to shut her up would be to feed her, which would defeat the purpose of a diet (she's eating a low fat dry food). If I ignore her, she will go to her water bowl, and splash it on the floor. Please help!
