Is my turtle truly happy?

I have a 3 legged painted turtle named Blossom. I found her as a wild turtle and I kept her because she was unhealthy and she only had 3 legs. She is now healthy and calm around people. What did I do wrong with my heating fixtures?

So from what i gathered and was told, I should have a day lightbulb and a UV lightbulb. Should I get a heating pad for under the tank on te warmer side? You need the first thermometer (digital probe thermometer).. That's actually the same I have. The warm end should be 90-95 floor temp. If it ends up too cold, that does not mean get a new light bulb. In fact, I would take the one you're currently using out too. Leopard gecko's heat "sensors" are on their belly, so they only can feel heat from the belly. If it's too hot over head, they can't feel that to know to get over to the cool side. They're also nocturnal, so regular bulbs aren't always the best idea during the day. If your temperature is too low, get a new heat mat that will cover 1/3 to 1/2 of the tank floor (if yours doesn't) , and it will be warmer. If you insist on a light, a red heat bulb (no UV or any of that expensive stuff.. And they can't see red.) over the warm hide should be okay, as long as the light isn't directly over the gecko's head.

We're putting my 2 1/2 year old egyptian mau on a diet because she's getting fat. She's a very spoiled cat to begin with, alway whining about something. I feed her at 8am and 7pm usually, but now she whines not only after finishing her food in the morning but over the past 2 weeks, starting at 4pm. If I were to feed her at 4, then shed be hungry and whine more when I go to sleep, and the only way to shut her up would be to feed her, which would defeat the purpose of a diet (she's eating a low fat dry food). If I ignore her, she will go to her water bowl, and splash it on the floor. Please help!
